3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA (LAWFUL BASIS) We use your data only when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data:

4. OUR THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSORS To provide a modern, secure service, we share data with the following specialized tools. Each tool has been selected for its compliance with data protection standards:

• Stripe: We use Stripe for secure payment processing. They receive your payment details and identity data to process subscriptions and prevent fraud.

• Supabase: This is our application backend and user database. Your account information and app preferences are stored securely here.

• Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails, such as login links, password resets, and account notifications.

• ActiveCampaign: This tool manages our CRM and the delivery of our weekly newsletters. It processes your email and usage data to ensure you receive the curated content you signed up for.

• Usermaven: We use this for privacy-focused web analytics to understand how users interact with our site without infringing on individual privacy.

• Baremetrics: This tool provides us with financial analytics, such as subscription growth and churn rates, by analyzing data from Stripe.

• n8n: We use n8n for internal workflow automation. This helps us sync data between our different tools securely.

• OpenAI (ChatGPT): We use AI to assist in summarizing listings and curating content. We do not use your personal identity data to train these AI models.

• Manychat: This is used for automated messaging on social platforms to help answer common questions about our service.

• Meta (Instagram and Facebook): We use Meta’s platforms for marketing and advertising. They may use cookies or pixels to track the effectiveness of our ads.

5. DATA TRANSFERS Many of our service providers are based outside the UK (primarily in the USA). We ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

• The country has been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.

• We use specific contracts approved for use in the UK (Standard Contractual Clauses/International Data Transfer Agreements).
